Which states border the state of Michigan?

Michigan is located in the upper midwestern portion of the United States, and it is bordered to the north and the east by Ontario, Canada, to the south by Ohio and Indiana, and to the west by Lake Superior (Minnesota), Wisconsin, and Illinois.


*Please note that Michigan and Minnesota share a common border, although it's in the middle of Lake Superior and not on land. This is also the case with Michigan and Illinois; there is no land accessible border between Michigan and Illinois, nor Michigan and Minnesota.
